Impacted Teeth
As the last teeth in our mouth, wisdom teeth often cannot find a place to erupt. Wisdom teeth usually begin to erupt from the age of 17. Some people may not come out at all. However, today, with the evolution process, the decrease in the need for these teeth causes these teeth to not come out or to remain semi-impacted. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause cavities in the side teeth, toothache, and cause crowding in the front teeth by pressing on the side teeth. When such cases are observed, surgical removal of wisdom teeth is recommended. After the surgical procedure, pain, swelling and bleeding can be seen in our patients, which can last for 2-3 days.
